Vincenz Statz or Vinzenz Statz was a German architect. He is considered one of the most important and influential representatives of the neo-Gothic style in the Rhineland. Vincenz Statz was born on April 9, 1819 in Cologne and was a well-known and influential Neo-Gothic architect. He received his first lessons from a student of Karl Friedrich Schinkel and then in 1841 joined the cathedral construction works of Cologne Cathedral, where he worked as a foreman from 1845.
