Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt (1862–1918) was an Austrian symbolist and one of the most famous members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is known for his paintings, murals, sketches and other art pieces. Klimt's main theme was the female body, and his works are characterized by an open eroticism. Klimt was most influenced by Japanese art and its methods.
