Jean-François Bony (February 24, 1754 - 1825) was a French painter, draftsman, embroiderer, silk maker and flower painter. A talented artist, he designed, among other things, a dress and a coat proposed for Josephine de Beauharnais to wear at Napoleon's coronation. Active before, during and after the French Revolution, Bony also designed fabrics for Marie Antoinette, Empress Marie Louise and Napoleon.
