Eugène Delacroix

Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix was a French painter. Because of the vividness of his imagination and his generous use of colors, he is considered a pioneer of impressionism and exhibited paintings every year at the Paris Salon, whose passionate subjects caused a stir and often shocked.
