Antoni Gaudí i Cornet (1852–1926) was a Catalan architect known as the greatest representative of Catalan modernism. Gaud's works have a very individual, unique style. Most are in Barcelona, including his main work, the church of the Sagrada Família, the most visited monument in Spain. Gaudi's work was influenced by his passions in life: architecture, nature and religion. His work enjoys worldwide popularity.
